Work out

No I'm not fat, at all but I hate my stomach. It just sticks out like a balloon! So I have decided I'm going to make a work out to get a flat stomach or maybe even abs! But I'm not sure on what I should do for exercise. I have a list but I don't know what else. I also want to put together a work out CD. I need help finding good, upbeat, get you pumped sorta music! I need you guys to recommend me some exercise routines and music!
1. What sort of exercises should I include in my workout?
2. What songs should I put on the CD to help me during my work out?
3. Anything else you could recommend?
4. Should I do this every day?
5. When is the best time of day to work out?
